Our Story

DriverAI is a technology company developing a smartphone-based, high‑precision positioning and tracking platform for supply chain, logistics, and industrial applications. By combining AI‑driven sensor fusion, vision-based localization, and integration with Open RAN networks, DriverAI aims to deliver centimeter-level accuracy (30.48 cm / 1 foot) without needing external RTK hardware or specialized infrastructure.

The company seeks to leverage this innovation to reduce deployment costs, increase operational efficiency, and enable real‑time visibility of assets, inventory, and fleets using only commercial mobile devices—with a vision toward scaling locally, nationally, and eventually globally.

Origins: A Vision Rooted in Precision

DriverAI began with a simple but ambitious idea: to bridge the gap between physical environments and digital intelligence using only the devices people already carry—smartphones. Recognizing the limitations of traditional GPS and indoor tracking systems, the founders of DriverAI set out to develop a technology that could precisely locate people and assets indoors to within a single foot—without relying on expensive beacons, specialized hardware, or infrastructure overhauls.

This vision was born from real-world challenges. Whether it was first responders trying to navigate chaotic interiors during emergencies, warehouse managers losing valuable time due to inventory misplacement, or retailers struggling to understand shopper behavior—every scenario pointed to one thing: the need for better, faster, and more affordable indoor location intelligence.

DriverAI’s platform can map environments in real time, detect and label physical objects, and build accurate digital twins—all while functioning on commercially available smartphones.

This smartphone-first approach eliminated the barrier to adoption for customers. No longer was indoor tracking limited to those who could afford expensive infrastructure. With DriverAI, it became possible to deliver location intelligence as a frictionless software solution, immediately deployable, highly accurate, and endlessly scalable.

Trust, Compliance & Security

DriverAI is built with security-by-design principles, guided by the NIST Cybersecurity Framework 2.0, and aligned with CISA’s Cybersecurity Performance Goals. It incorporates standards from the Center for Internet Security (CIS) and aims to meet rigorous FedRAMP requirements—positioning the company to work with the federal government and regulated industries. Additionally, compliance with global privacy laws, such as GDPR and CCPA, ensures that all data is handled responsibly and ethically.

The Road Ahead

With a dual-market strategy—serving users through a free mobile app (Zip-E) and enterprise customers through commercial licensing and analytics—DriverAI is positioned for significant growth. The anonymized data collected fuels powerful behavioral analytics, opening up a secondary data-as-a-service revenue stream.

Backed by a strong team, patented technology, and an ever-growing list of potential applications, DriverAI is more than a product. It’s a platform for the future of intelligent location services, giving every industry the tools to optimize movement, make data-driven decisions, and thrive in a digitally mapped world.
